Q: how long will pellets keep? can pellets be frozen to extend shelf life

Q: We will be cooking these in a large kettle corn kettle. Approximately how many bags will the 25 lbs. make? and do you put any extra seasons on them when you pop them?

A: Pork rind pellets have a shelf life of 9 months at room temperature (assuming they are stored in a dry space). We would not recommend freezing the pellets.

It'll depend on how big a bag you are using and what weight you decide to fill the bag with.

We use a 8x12 vacuum seal bag here. We put 0.1lb of popped pellets/pork skins into each bag, and so we expect a yield of 250 bags.

We do put extra seasoning on our popped pellets/pork skins. We use our Original Spicy Cajun seasoning blend, but you can also try a Mesquite seasoning blend or a Salt and Vinegar blend to really spice things up.
